Update 5: Room Creation and Quiz Question Implementation
This week I created the rooms that will be used on my game. I created these on 3DS Max software. The rooms that I have created are a boxy shape, as this is the shape I was going for in each of the rooms in the maze. The maze overall will have a total of 21 rooms, so therefore instead of creating individual rooms I created three separate rooms which will then be copied and pasted in the game (so 7 of each three models will be used in Unity).
I also sorted out a few problems that I had come across with the maze rooms. The maze rooms would become slightly transparent (can see outside of the room) when viewed from the inside of the maze rooms themselves on the walls. Therefore, to fix this I had to return to 3DS Max and rework the models of the maze rooms a bit, by making the walls wider so that they aren't transparent, even slightly anymore.
I also added the question UI segment to half of the rooms in the maze so far. This will be expanded next week and will be noted in next week's blog if that has been complete. As usual I committed my changes to sourcetree.
