Digital Marketing Analytics: Techniques

There are several digital marketing analytics techniques that could be used by a company. There are a few that matter more than others though, one of the techniques that matter is a term called "Click-Through Rate" which is the rate of which your ads are clicked, or in another way the percentage of people that view your ads. Action may need to be taken if your "Click-Through Rate" has low numbers, this can include making your target audience more specific or creating a more relevant landing page to the ad that the user clicks. (Click-Through Rate (CTR): Understanding CTR for PPC [PPC U], 2021).

Another digital marketing analytics technique that is important for a  company is conversions which is the measures and actions that people will take whilst on your website, so having a way to track what visitors to the website do before becoming a loyal customer is incredibly important. This will allow you to create and develop content which can be used to suggest different content to them. This is a very effective marketing tactic that is used by many companies such as Facebook - by showing posts to people that already have high engagement rather than creating ads. (Dickey, 2021).

Traffic is also an important digital marketing analytics strategy as this will allow you to split up your traffic can help to identify other opportunities for your company. This can be done effectively through Google Analytics, this will essentially allow you to focus on parts of your marketing strategy that matter more than others. (Dickey, 2021).
