Importance Of Analytics

The use of digital marketing analytics for a company or business is incredibly important as this will allow you to see who is buying, watching or consuming a product or service. This can show how effective a company's marketing strategy is working currently. An example of this is through analytics on a page showing what specific individuals are using a service/product. This includes age, race and gender. This can be used if promoted a product through an ad on YouTube, as that will allow you to see the analytics of what specific individuals watched the ads.  Using these analytics will allow a company to develop products/services further that will target those who are more likely to use the product/service and make worthwhile changes to a company's marketing strategy. (Why Are Analytics Important?, 2021).

 There are a number of dashboard metrics that can be used to monitor the performance of a website for a company. This includes pages per visit and the bounce rate. These metrics are important as it can tell a company how effectively there business is growing and may give an indication of what can be done to improve the number of people that visit the website (pages per visit) and the number of people that will remain on the website before leaving the website (bounce rate). (Understanding the Importance of Digital Marketing Analytics, 2021).
